

As I really enjoyed the look and feel of City 17, I decided this would be what I would do for the map. So not only is this map large, but it also contains some of my first forays into scripting. Development//This is my first Gmod map, and I wanted to go big with it.

They can be destroyed and it will refocus them.Īny windows shattered, boxes broken or cameras destroyed can be fixed by: Pressing Q -> Utilities -> Admin -> Cleanup -> Cleanup Everything Meaning Resistance bots will target them (citizen bots will run away from them), sometimes over other, deadlier Combine units. Note: There are Combine cameras on the map. The Combine walkway (in the plaza in front of the trainstation) and the two Combine sniper towers are solid and are great placement points for AIs. The Overseer's office features a district wide alarm and authorization for soldiers to kill at their own discretion. The central command features: Two placeable turrets, two ammo boxes, two district wide reminders, a trainstation wide alarm, two buttons that individually notifies each apartment of an inspection (button 1 tells the raid apartment, button 2 for the other), a button that can seal the station's main entrance, a button to open the hall to the Overseer's office, and an alert to enact unrest procedures.

4 enterable industrial buildings (including Kleiner's lab's building) for potential rebel use.The rooftop pathway that connects the raid apartment with Kleiner's lab and attached industrial building.The courtyard for the raid apartment features a functioning tic-tac-toe game (The physgun can help move and freeze each piece). Each apartment is left mostly blank, allowing some customization. Two apartment buildings (including the infamous raid apartment from HL2) with 8 livable and 1 abandoned apartment between the two.It also has a functioning vending machine. Acts as the spawn point and the Combine HQ for the district.
